About Us

In 2004, The Morris Regional Public Health Partnership (MRPHP), a non-profit organization, was formed to assist Local Health Departments and other health/human services’ organizations with the delivery of public health services.

The mission of the Morris Regional Public Health Partnership is to assist affiliate municipalities and other governmental organizations with the delivery of public health services directly related to N.J.A.C. 8:52, Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health in New Jersey. Partnership activities include:

  • Research to identify the health conditions and public health needs of Morris County residents.
  • The preparation of mult-municipal and regional policies, plans and programs to address threats to community health.
  • The identification and acquisition of resources to provide and improve public health plans and services.
  • The planning and implementation of activities to strengthen the management and delivery of municipally originated public health services.
